Commuters in Aberdeen are facing major disruption this morning after Scotrail announced severe delays to rail services travelling to and from Dundee.
The rail company confirmed all trains travelling on the East Coast Main Line could be affected until mid-morning after an engineering train broke down on the line.
The broken down train is currently stranded somewhere on the tracks between Dundee and Aberdeen.
A repair train has been sent but delays to services are expected to remain for a number of hours.
