Bus slams into entrance of Aberdeen hotel

A bus crashed into an Aberdeen hotel this morning.

Police were called after the vehicle collided with the Rox Hotel, on the city’s Market Street, at about 11.45am.

Nobody is said to have been injured during the incident, which caused damage to the entrance of the building.

Staff at the hotel alerted the emergency services to the incident, which involved a Stagecoach bus.

A police spokeswoman said: “That came in at about 11.45am, it was a bus versus the front of the Rox Hotel. There was damage to the door and canopy.”
