Scotrail workers are currently locked in a dispute over plans to introduce more driver-only trains. And now Scotrail have revealed that the row has led to scheduled strike action for the next two Sundays. The firm confirmed today that Aberdeen services, which were already affected by strike action earlier this month, are likely to be hit again. It means trains leaving Edinburgh for Aberdeen are expected to be cancelled this Sunday and on Sunday, July 31. Trains from Aberdeen to Inverness are to also be affected. Services between Glasgow Central and Aberdeen as well as those from the city to Inverurie are anticipated to run on a reduced frequency. Notices will be placed on ticket machines around Aberdeen Railway Station warning passengers of the disruption.
