A Lochaber road has reopened after being shut for around 20 hours due to a landslide.
The A830 between Lochailort and Drumsallie had been closed since around 6pm on Thursday evening because of the slide of mud and other debris.
Police have now confirmed that the road has now reopened with one lane in use, controlled by temporary traffic lights.
However, the nearby Fort William to Mallaig railway line is expected to remain closed until at least the end of service on Saturday.
ScotRail have advised that services from Glasgow Queen Street are terminating at Fort William with a replacement bus service onwards to Mallaig.
A ScotRail spokeswoman said: “We are grateful to customers for their patience during the disruption which is being caused by a landslip blocking the line.
“Buses are running in place of trains between Fort William and Mallaig to help keep people on the move.
“However, roads are also affected by the landslip and divisionary routes may be used, meaning extended journey times.
“We apologise to customers who are affected by this disruption.”
