VIDEO: Angry dad confronts headteacher who sent home 60 pupils over uniform

This is the moment an angry dad confronts a headteacher after his daughter Kim Hopper was turned away from school over strict uniform policy.

Pupils have returned to Hartsdown Academy one day after around 60 were sent home for not wearing the correct uniform.

Teachers waited at the school gates to conduct uniform checks yesterday – on what was new headteacher Matthew Tate’s first day in charge.

The new head defended his stance yesterday by saying: ”Hartsdown becomes the great school it can be, and promotes pride in learning from its pupils.”

The school’s position has divided parents across Kent.
