An uninsured motorist high on cannabis took cops on a furious 30-minute city centre chase – while driving through 14 red lights at terrifying speeds of 89MPH, a court heard.
Javid Shan, 23, who was also using false number plates, ignored at least 14 sets of red traffic lights during the cat and mouse chase with officers.
Bradford Crown Court, West Yorks., heard Shan was trying to flee the pursuing cops at all costs – as he rammed police cars after they tried to box him in.
The defendant had also driven on the wrong side of the road around Bradford City Centre, West Yorks., and weaved through bollards in the early hours of the morning.
But the pursuit ended when Shan lost control of the car and came to a stop on a roundabout.
