A devoted Mod fan got her dying wish when over 75 Vespas rode out for her final farewell – with one scooter even towing her coffin.
Kim Walsh, 50, told daughter Gemma of her last request shortly before she died on September 9 after contracting pneumonia.
Gemma, a staff nurse, put out a request on Facebook and expected just a handful of riders to attend – but was shocked when it was shared over 1,000 times.
Former Mods from as far away as Wales made the trip to Kim’s home in Basford, Notts., before riding out to Bramcote Crematorium on Friday.
Incredible footage shows the procession lining up on the iconic bikes with the RAF roundels etched on their helmets for the mum-of-three’s final ride.
