A gang of trick or treaters caused Halloween horror after getting caught on camera blasting fireworks – at police.
The youths targeted police cars with fireworks after reports of anti-social behaviour on Monday night.
One officer who arrived at the scene began running to detain the youths and narrowly avoided being struck by a firework which skimmed past his feet.
The youths have been branded “moronic” after a video taken by a local neighbourhood watch group went viral on social media with some viewers calling for stricter laws on the selling of fireworks.
Following the incident in Tottenham, north London, MPS Haringey tweeted: “Fireworks burn hot enough to cause third degree burns.
