Kevin Turley is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to remembering the fallen – after he had a poppy shaved into his hair.
Kevin, 46, had all his locks chopped off except for a poppy shape on the back of his hair to show his support for the Royal British Legion’s annual appeal.
The garden centre worker even had the poppy dyed red with the leaves coloured a bridge green.
Kevin, an Independent councillor who represents Shifnal North on Shropshire Council, is hoping his hair-do will raise thousands for injured servicemen.
The dad-of-two said: “I think my hair is phenomenal.
“I wanted to do something to show my support for those who gave their lives as well as raising a bit of cash for injured servicemen.
“It would be great if it caught on. I think the England and Scotland footballers should do it to show their disgust against Fifa’s poppy ban.”
