A father refused to accept a warning from Game of Thrones’ makers HBO who claimed his daughter had breached copyright laws with her artwork.
The production company claimed 13-year-old daughter Felicity had committed the offence by using the phrase ‘Winter is Coming’ in the piece.
Jonathan Wilcox, 53,from Nottinghamshire, was left shocked after his daughter received the email.
The teenager’s picture was made on the computer as part of a November artwork competition which featured a purple-haired girl with the words ‘Winter is Coming’ – House Stark’s motto.
