The bodies of five people have been found with the wreckage of a missing helicopter in Snowdonia, North Wales Police say.
The aircraft left Milton Keynes yesterday and was due to arrive in Dublin, via Caernarfon Bay.
The local search and rescue helicopter carried out an extensive land based search of fields and airfields within the surrounding area.
A Mayday Relay broadcast had also been issued to all vessels passing through the Irish Sea route to contact the coastguard if they have seen anything.
However, police have now confirmed that five bodies, believed to be every person on board, have now been discovered along with the wreckage of the aircraft.
The millionaire couple who own the helicopter are feared to be among the passengers on board.
Staske Construction Ltd, which is run by Kevin and Ruth Burke, rent out the red aircraft and others they own to TV and film crews.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “Sadly we can confirm that the wreckage of the helicopter that went missing yesterday has been located along with the bodies of five people.”
