Robbers smashing in the windows of the jewellers in Clifton
Shocking footage of four masked launching a brazen jewellery shop robbery has been released.
The men, wielding baseball bats, targeted the jewellers in broad daylight – smashing the shop’s windows before making off with thousands of pounds worth of valuables.
The incident took place in Bristol where the robbers thought they were out of view of CCTV, however, quick thinking student Megan Swan filmed the theft from her bedroom window.
The men escaped in a car parked outside the jewellers, however, police were quickly on the scene and a helicopter was also dispatched to track down the thieves.
The robbery was the second time the Clifton Village jewellers has been targeted in recent years, after a failed attempt last June.
