CCTV footage released yesterday showed her clutching four-day-old Zaani Tiana as she calmly walked off the ward, past several nurses and out of the hospital.
Last night, a police helicopter found the body of a woman in the Avon Gorge near the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol.
Officers said they did not find not find a baby.
Pascal Malbrouck, 37, Miss Bevan’s boyfriend and Zaani’s father, had issued a heartfelt plea for her to ‘please come back’ and spoken of how they were excited to be new parents.
