This is the shocking moment a mother was dragged down a road after a car-jacker stole her mini.
The CCTV footage shows Nikky Law-Priddey being viscously towed along the residential street outside her home in Birmingham as she tried to stop a thief from stealing her motor.
The 30-year-old briefly left her car running on her drive when an opportunist thief appeared from the pavement and quickly jumped behind the wheel.
Despite Mrs Law-Priddey’s efforts to stop the theft, the driver continues to speed away, lugging the mother-of-one behind him.
Releasing the footage on her Facebook page, Mrs Law-Priddey said she wanted the person behind the theft in Kitwell Lane caught.
She said: “He’s on the streets still doing this. I know the video is awful, but this stuff goes on daily.
“We were lucky to have CCTV – people need to start talking and naming names, he needs catching.”
“I hope this never happens to you or a loved one, as I will have to deal with this for the rest of my life.”
West Midlands Police said they had arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with the incident and he had been bailed while investigations continue
Detective Constable Stuart Parker said: “We’re doing all we can to find whoever was responsible and as well as arresting one man in connection with the robbery, we’re also carrying out a forensic examination of the vehicle.
“This happened in broad daylight and we would urge anyone who witnessed anything which might be relevant to our investigation to contact us on 101.”
