VIDEO: Moment garage employee takes customer’s car for ride at TWICE the speed limit

When Shaun Ingram booked his Ford Focus ST in for a major service costing £255, he expected the job to be handled professionally.

But after getting his car back from the Halfords Autocentre he discovered the mechanic had taken it for a speedy spin.

The dashcam installed in his car captured footage of the vehicle travelling at nearly 60mph in a 30mph zone.

The firm said the mechanic was a temporary employee at its branch in Plymouth, Devon, who was removed from his role when the incident came to light.
