Andy Burnham bookies’ favourite to be next UK Labour leader

Andy Burnham is now the favourite to suceed Ed Miliband as leader of the UK Labour Party, according one leading bookie.

William Hill puts him as 11/10 favourite to replace Mr Miliband, and 7/1 to become the next prime minister.

The shadow health secretary has resumed his position as favourite after previous favourite Chuka Umunna pulled out of the race.
