It’s official Clarkson, Hammond and May have a new show in the making with Amazon Prime.
In an official statement by Amazon today (July 30), it was revealed that the “first season will go into production soon and is scheduled to premier for Prime members in 2016.”
The one time Top Gear producer, Andy Wilman, will be at the helm of the new series.
Fan reaction has been mixed so far.
Some are happy to know that their favourite show will return while other people are outraged that they’ll have to pay for the service.
Amazon Prime has already offered potential customers a 30-day free trial.
There’s no word on the name of the new show, however, using the hashtag Drive2Prime speculation is rife online that this could be a possible title.
