The M56 in Cheshire is currently closed in both directions between junctions 12 and 15. Police have set up a 1,600-exclusion zone around the incident and evacuated motorists from their vehicles. Home owners in nearby areas of Helsby, Hapsford and Elton have been told to stay indoors. The Liverpool to Runcorn train line is also currently closed. More to follow
