After placing an order for her daughter’s birthday cake, the recipients were surprised to receive a cake topped with a blind girl figurine featuring a white cane.
The incident was down to an autocorrect fail, changing blonde girl to blind girl.
Marie Seggie, 52, decided last minute she wanted the cake to feature a blond figurine, but without checking her message before sending, the vanilla sponge arrived starring some surprising icing work.
Following the incident, Emily Seggie took to twitter to share the accidental mishap.

Emily, 17, said: “It was one of my mum’s friends that made the cake for Laura.
“We were a bit confused why there was a blind girl on top but then mum told us the mistake she had made with autocorrect.
“Thankfully we all saw the funny side of it, including my mum’s friend.
“We were going to take it off the top because we weren’t sure if it would be seen as offensive but decided to keep it in the end.
“I uploaded it on Twitter and it just went crazy.
“I woke up and couldn’t believe how many times it had been shared.”
