Police and other emergency services are at the scene of a light aircraft crash.
It is not yet clear how many victims are involved – or the extent of any injuries – following the crash in a field off Gravel Lane in Chigwell, Essex, shortly before 10.20am today.
A police spokesman said: “It is not yet known how many people were on board or numbers of casualties, or where the plane was flying to or from.
“We would urge people not to attend the scene. Further updates will be given in due course.”
East of England Ambulance Service said it has an ambulance crew, rapid response vehicle, two ambulance officers, and the hazardous area response team on scene.
