A disgraced teacher who was jailed for abducting a teenage pupil has posted his CV online – just months after being released from prison.
Jeremy Forrest – who was born in Aberdeen and grew up in Inverurie – served two years of a five-and-a-half-year term after being found guilty of child abduction and five charges of sexual activity with a child in June 2013.
Forrest was also banned from working with children without supervision.
Now it has emerged the 33-year-old has added a new profile to a well-known jobs website, which lists one of his chosen industries as education.
The post also gives his personal details, qualifications and employment history.
Included in the list is his time at Bishop Bell School at Eastbourne in East Sussex – where he groomed his victim.
However, he fails to disclose where he was between 2012 and 2015, the period when he was in police custody and then in jail.
During an eight-day trial at Lewes Crown Court, the jury was told Forrest groomed the pupil to have sex with him before taking her to France to avoid being caught.
Forrest, who was divorced by his wife, is believed to have been living in a bail hostel in London since his release.
He is subject to a sexual offences prevention order for the rest of his life.
The Ministry of Justice in England has said sexual offenders are strictly monitored when they are released from jail.
A spokesman said: “If sex offenders out on licence breach their strict conditions they can be recalled to prison.”
