VIDEO: Firemen rescue adorable baby duck trapped in drain

Firefighters in Droitwich, England came to the rescue of a tiny baby duck that had fallen into a drain and was separated from its mother.

Alerted by a member of the public who had seen the duckling fall into the sewer drain, the Hereford and Worcester firemen scooped the duckling to safety.

With no obvious injuries, the gold-furry duckling was placed into a cardboard box and taken back to the water where it was quickly reunited with its family.

A spokesman for the Worcestershire fire service said: “We were called by a member of the public who had seen that the duck had fallen into a drain.”
