Angus Robertson marries partner Jennifer Dempsie

SNP Westminster Leader Angus Robertson has married his partner Jennifer Dempsie.

The couple exchanged vows during a small ceremony in Edinburgh yesterday.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said she was delighted for the Moray MP and former SNP adviser.

The SNP leader added: “I wish them every happiness.”

Mr Robertson, who wore a grey suit and white tie, posted a photo of the occasion online.

He wrote: “Very lucky to marry the lovely Jennifer Dempsie. Thanks for the best wishes.”

She also tweeted a picture, adding: “A very happy day thanks to my love.”
