A group of researchers, from Cambridge University, monitored a series of seismic shocks which came before Iceland’s biggest volcanic eruption in 200 years.
Back in 2014 the researchers were shaken awake by a series of low-magnitude earthquakes from the Barðarbunga volcano in central Iceland.
