Pokemon Go, the mobile game which has become a global phenomenon, has finally been released in the UK.
Pokemon masters throughout the country can now attempt to ‘catch ’em all’ after the app became available on the iOS App Store and Google Play.
The game has been available in Australia, New Zealand and the US for some time but UK fans had been left frustrated after being told the rollout had been “paused” due to server issues.
Many found ulterior methods of accessing the game, with tutorials showing how to access the US App Store becoming popular online.
Mobile provider EE revealed today that more than 350,000 people on its network in the UK have already been using the app before it appeared on the App Store.
The app, which is free to download, has already raised some concerns over claims it could access a user’s entire Google account, including email and passwords.
