This dramatic footage shows fire crews rescuing a lucky dog who survived for two days after falling 65ft – down a disused mine.
Adventurous golden retriever Indie went missing during a walk only to be found down the disused and uncapped shaft by her relieved owner two days later.
The tired and thirsty pooch was winched back to safety by firefighters and reunited with her family.
Despite her traumatic ordeal, Indie was remarkably unharmed.
Truro Community Fire Station posted a video of the dramatic rescue that took place near Wheal Jane just before 5pm on Tuesday on its Facebook page.
A spokesman said: “A dog owner was reunited with her beloved golden retriever after it had been missing for two days.
