Watch the shocking moment an e-cigarette explodes in a man’s pocket

An e-cigarette exploded in a man’s pocket when it malfunctioned and burst into flames.

The man, from California, was on a bus at the time and was rushed to hospital.

Witnesses said the man was attempting to use the e-cigarette while on the bus but the driver asked him not to, according to reports.

He then put the device in his pocket, when it malfunctioned.

The man suffered minor burn injuries but no-one else on the bus was hurt.
