Multiple “large explosions” reported in Marseille, France

Two “large explosions” have reportedly been heard in Marseille, France.

Multiple social media reports have claimed “several” explosions have been heard in the city.

One resident wrote on Twitter: “The explosion was felt on the wall [of my house] and the window trembled.”

Another added: “I hear the sound of sirens.”

However, no official confirmation has been made by French rescue services.

“We also heard an explosion but its origin is a mystery so far,” one firefighter told La Provence.
