The youngest gunman, 18-year-old Hamyd Mourad, is believed to have been a student in the city. The other men have been named as French brothers Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi, in their early 30s. France’s elite anti-terrorist unit arrived in the northeastern city of Reims as part of the hunt for the gunmen who attacked the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo. A member of the elite unit at the scene said either the suspects will be able to escape or “there will be a showdown”. Witnesses have reported seeing tens of offices dressed all in black and heavily armed.
