VIDEO: Terrifying footage of elephant crushing car in Thai nature park

This is the terrifying moment an elephant crushed a car at a nature reserve in Thailand at the weekend.

The car was at a stand still at Khao Yai National Park near Bankok when an elephant stood on it, denting its hood on Saturday.

The incident was followed by another “attack” when another elephant stomped through a grocery shop and shattered windows with its trunk on Monday.

It is not clear whether it was the same elephant involved in the scenes.

Park chief Kanchit Srinoppawan said the aggressive behaviour was due to mating season.

No-one was injured in the events.
