The man entered the studios of Dutch public TV station NPO1 disrupting the main evening news programme and demanding airtime. Staff were evacuated from the building in the Media Park in the central city of Hilversum and it is believed the man has now been arrested. Dutch media are reporting the gunman was well-dressed and carrying a pistol.
