Michael Schumacher’s 15-year-old son has crashed while test driving a Formula 4 car at 100mph.
Mick Schumacher was racing through the Lausitzring speedway in Brandenburg, eastern Germany, when he skidded out of control.
It is understood his vehicle left the track during a practice session and ended up on gravel by the side of the road.
Thankfully, the youngster walked away from the accident uninjured.
The accident happened last weekend, just days after Mick started his F4 career with Van Amersfoort Racing after impressing on the karting circuit.
His father, a record seven Formula 1 world title champion, is continuing his recovery at his home in Switzerland after a ski-ing accident in the French Alps in December 2013.
