The first images of the smouldering wreckage taken from the ground of the site of today’s catastrophic Germanwings plane crash have been posted online.
The image shows tiny chunks of the plane covering a whole hillside of the French Alps after the plane was “pulverised” when it smashed into the mountains.
The debris were found at an elevation of 2000 metres, high up in the southern French mountains.
The French media have reported that the black box of the doomed aircraft has already been found amongst the debris.
