A terrified British tourist blocked his hotel room door with a chair and his bed as he tried to save himself from the terror attack in Tunisia this afternoon.
John Yeoman, currently on holiday in Tunisia, tweeted his own experience from the moment he first heard gunfire to the moment he locked himself in his room as he desperately tried to save himself and his family from the attack.
Mr Yeoman’s family, along with dozens of other tourists ran for their lives, as terrorists opened fire. The Yeomans ran to their hotel room where Mr Yeoman blocked the door in an attempt to keep out the terrorists.

Mr Yeoman continued to tweet throughout the ordeal, at one stage telling his followers he was unsure if the shots were coming from terrorists, police or the army.

The attackers opened fire on a popular beach in the town of Sousse, killing 27 people.
One of the gunmen was killed and police are pursuing the other, said spokesman Mohammed Ali Aroui.
The Tunisian interior ministry has confirmed the death toll is currently 27, however, Aroui added that the death toll could rise.
Mr Aroui described the victims as mostly tourists but did not give any nationalities, however, local radio said those killed were mostly German and British.
