Footage has emerged showing a terrifying explosion in the Chinese city of Tianjin.
It is believed the explosion was caused by a shipment of explosives that went up in flames at an industrial port in Tianjin where a number of buildings have been left without power.
Chinese state broadcaster CCTV report the explosion occurred at the Tianjin Binhai New Development Zone at about 11:30pm local time.

Hundreds of people have been left injured but the extent of those injuries is not yet clear.
The National Business Daily newspaper is reporting that two firefighters battling the blaze are missing and six are wounded, the newspaper is also reported that 300-400 people are wounded.
One doctor told the Beijing News: “The hospital cannot count how many patients we have received – there are too many of them and many of them have burn injuries.”
Tianjin, a city of 7.5 million people, is a base for refining and petrochemical industries.
