This is the moment a bear on a rampage smashed its way out of a shopping centre and stormed to a local playground.
Shocking footage of the incident in the Russian city of Khabarovsk, close to the Chinese border, shows the bear racing around the shopping centre.
The bear eventually managed to push a door open and make an escape, with locals screaming in terror.
However after fleeing to a nearby playground it was shot dead by heavily armed police officers.
One shopping centre worker who asked not to be named said: “I was sitting at my cashier desk, my working place.
“And then I heard doors breaking, I looked there and thought maybe there was a scuffle or something, and then I saw the bear, galloping like this past me.”
The sound of gunshots ring out at the end of the video as the creature is killed.
