A woman has been restrained on board a transatlantic British Airways flight after “trying to enter the cockpit”.
Massachusetts State Police said the woman was detained in the air on flight BA 213.
The police force said on Twitter that officers were at Boston’s Logan International Airport “to take custody of the restrained passenger” and investigate the incident.
Authorities initially said the woman tried to break into the cockpit of the plane.
However, an airline spokesman has since said the woman was trying to open an exit door.
