Istanbul Airport attack: Reports of explosions and gunfire

Two explosions have been reported at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport, leaving many people injured.

An official said it was unclear whether the blasts were caused by bombs or a suicide attack.

Turkish media reported the sound of gunfire at the scene.

Turkey has suffered several bombings in recent months linked to Kurdish or Islamic State group militants.

UPDATE: Turkish officials have confirmed that at least 10 people have been killed and another 40 are injured.
