It is fantastic to see former Aberdeen winger Ryan Fraser establishing himself in the Scotland international team.
Fraser, pictured, grabbed his first goal for his country in the 4-0 Nations League defeat of Albania.
Aberdonian Fraser followed that up with a superb assist for James Forrest in the 3-2 win over Israel at Hampden to secure top spot in the group.
Fraser has consistently been producing exceptional performances for Bournemouth in the English Premier League.
He is regularly pitching in with goals and assists.
Fraser’s career has progressed from the development process at Aberdeen to one of the top leagues in world football.
When you look at the Scotland team and think who are the first picks, Fraser and Aberdeen’s Scott McKenna are among them.
Fraser has a directness of play that is genuinely exciting, as does Celtic’s James Forrest on the other wing for Scotland.
Fraser and Forrest are going to create chances at international level. They are both creative talents capable of causing defences major problems and I am not talking about teams like Israel and Albania.
Fraser and Forrest will both have a key role to play in the bid to make the Euro 2020 finals.
