Keeper Joe Lewis deserves tremendous credit for his superb performance that was key to Aberdeen coming away from Murrayfield with a 0-0 draw against Hearts.
Lewis produced a succession of top class saves to continually frustrate the Jambos.
There are many games where Lewis, pictured, is not called into action that much with Aberdeen as the team tend to do most of the attacking.
In some games there can be long spells where Lewis is not under that much pressure but he has fantastic concentration to ensure he is always switched on and fully alert when he is tested.
Against Hearts he was tested frequently and more than rose to the task with brilliant saves to deny Jamie Walker and Esmael Goncalves amongst others.
Whenever Lewis has been called upon he has produced performances of the highest quality.
It will be a source of real confidence to the Aberdeen defenders that they have a keeper of such quality operating behind them.
Lewis is such an important player for Aberdeen and has been in superb form ever since he signed last summer.
Securing him on an extended deal recently until 2020 was a great move by the Dons.
