This week’s Aberdonian has taken a look back through at Victoria Road School.

These images, from the 80s and 90s, show life inside the former school in Torry.

1987: Art critics Jemma Cox (left) and Cherry Alexanader [Alexander?] seem to be discussing the merits of nursery class art, but Claire Davidson just gets on with her painting.
1988: Shaking a leg, and a collecting tin, during a marathon fancy dress pub crawl collection on Saturday are eight mothers of pupils at Victoria Road Primary in Torry.
1991: Head teacher of Victoria Road Primary School, Mrs Lorna Glen, explains the workings of the schoolÂ’s old regulator clock to pupils Martin Smith (7), left, and eight-year-old Ryan Calder.
1987: It's for you primary one pupil at Torry's Victoria Road Primary School, Claire Cowe puts a call through to her mum with some dialling help from Martin Douglas (centre) while Stuart McKenzie and Sarah Walker hang on.
