Before Google Maps, the ability to see a Aberdeen from air for most people was an expensive proposition.
With a number of changes to the city’s landscape even in recent years, Aberdeen has changed dramatically since the 1930, when the earliest of these photos were taken.
We’ve selected pictures from most areas of the city to show how much, or how little, the Granite City has changed up until 1991.
