As we enter November, we take a look through the archives at some big moments which have happened in the month in Aberdeen through the decades.
At Robert Gordon University, the winter graduations used to take place in November – below we see three best friends graduate together.
And in the 1970s, Gray’s School of Art students protested against the allocated funds for materials with a peaceful work-in.
November is also the time of year for reflection as Remembrance Sunday falls within the month, we look back at the parade from 1978 in the gallery.
While Aberdeen FC were one of the best teams in the world during the 1980s they regularly competed in European competition, we have a happy picture of fans in celebratory mood as the Dons beat German giants 3-2 in a third round tie.
The Dons would go on to lose in West Germany but would get their revenge in the 1983 European Super Cup.
