This week we take a look back at some notable times Glashieburn School hit the headlines.
The primary school in Bridge of Don has put on big productions over the years with pictures showing rehearsals of Goldilocks and Cinderella in our gallery below.
As well as starring on stage, pupils from the school featured on ITV schools television programme Spyglass back in 1989.
Pupils have also done their bit for the environment with regular litterpicking activities in the surrounding area.

1991 – The cast of 168 pupils from Primaries Six and Seven at Glashieburn Primary taking part in a musical play about the environment.
1987 – Kelly Mann of Primary 5 at the school gets a round of applause for her painting entitled Herring Drifters in the Sunset which was made ahead of the Aberdeen Fish Festival.
1987 – Some of the pupils from Glashieburn who are part of the cast for Cinderella.
1992 – Neil Pirie, 4, Matthew McNaughton, 3, and twins Scott and Joanna Ng, 4, enjoy some music making at Glashieburn Nursery with Maureen Grant.

1987 – Malcolm Campbell of Primary 3 at Glashieburn was so pleased to be one of Goldilocks’s three bears he wanted to keep his costume on.
1990 – Primary 6 pupils take part in the Red Cross ‘create a poster’ competition.
1987 – Royal National Institute for the Blind appeals organiser Stanley Flett with Primary 1 and 2 after a social education talk.
1987 – The primary 3 boys with Lee-Anne Will who starred as Goldilocks in their play.
1991 – Green fingered primary seven pupils inspect the pond in the school’s environmental area.
1983 – Primary 5 and 6 pupils take part in Keep Aberdeen Tidy Project at Scotstoun Morr.
1993 – Emma Coull, Mark Goonan and Stewart Graham fool around during a litter picking.
1991 – Tracy Barron, Erin Garden and Constantino Panagopulous, working on a raised border in the wildlife garden.
