We don’t need much of an excuse to look through our archives for cute and fun animal pictures and today is no exception.
We celebrate moments where pets in the north and north-east hit the headlines.
In our gallery below we have everything from champion beef cattle to geese confusing primary school children.
Animals are at the heart of what makes this part of the world such a fun place to come to with farm visits and Highland shows allowing us to see unique breeds in their element.
