North-east politician Jenny Marra has criticised the Scottish Parliament for asking MSPs to attend Holyrood while the rest of the country was warned not to travel.
The Labour MSP has also appealed on Twitter for help getting to Dundee from Edinburgh so she can see her young child.
The 40-year-old returned from maternity leave in January.
Police and the Scottish Government have warned people not to travel unless it is completely necessary as the Beast from the East continues to take hold.
Ms Marra said: “I feel so angry and upset that we were told to get to the Scottish Parliament yesterday and to stay with no consideration for caring responsibilities when the Scottish Government advised not to travel. No sense.”
