The first case of coronavirus has been confirmed in the Highlands.
The latest figures released by the Scottish Government today revealed there are now 121 confirmed cases in the country.
The total was 85 on Friday.
In Grampian, there are nine patients while Shetland has 11 positive cases.
NHS Highland has restricted visiting at the north’s hospitals.
This week the first death of a coronavirus patient was confirmed in Scotland.
Scotland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Catherine Calderwood said she was “saddened to report” a patient being treated for Covid-19 had died.
She said the patient, who was being treated by NHS Lothian, was an older person with pre-existing medical conditions.
The pandemic has also led to a score of events being cancelled and the SFA and SPFL have suspended football matches for the foreseeable future.
