Four new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed on Shetland.
Latest figures from the Scottish Government reveal the country’s total is now 171 – up from 153 on Sunday.
There are no new cases for the Highlands, which currently has two, or the Grampian area, where 12 people have been diagnosed with the virus.
A number of schools have closed in the north and north-east.
Drumduan Steiner School in Forres is due to be shut all week due to a confirmed case of coronavirus while Glashieburn Primary in Bridge of Don closed for cleaning after a pupil tested positive.
Knockbreck Primary and Craighill Primary, both in Tain, have been closed indefinitely after a pupil and a member of staff became ill over the weekend.
A statement from Highland Council said there was not yet evidence it is related to coronavirus, but that the measure was being taken as a precaution.
Boris Johnson is to address the nation on the coronavirus threat after meeting ministers and officials to consider measures including banning mass gatherings and lengthy household isolation for the elderly.
