Seven more people living in the Highlands have been diagnosed with Covid-19.
The latest figures from the Scottish Government showed the total for the north of Scotland is 29 while there are also two more confirmed cases in the Grampian area, with 31 so far.
Shetland has no more confirmed cases and its total remains at 24.
At a press conference in Edinburgh, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced three more people had died in Scotland after testing positive – and added the figures for confirmed cases will be an underestimate.
Chief medical officer Dr Catherine Calderwood said an estimated 40,000 to 50,000 Scots could have contracted Covid-19 already – and many of them are unaware they have it.

With the weekend coming, Dr Calderwood urged people not to be lax with restrictions. Stay at home, but please do exercise, she added.
