Six new cases of confirmed Covid-19 have been reported in the Grampian area in the past 24 hours.
The latest update from the Scottish Government shows the total number of confirmed cases in the north-east since the pandemic began is now 1,294 while 56 people are receiving hospital treatment in the region.
There have been no new cases reported in the north of Scotland since Saturday’s update.
The total in the Highlands remains at 341, 54 on Shetland, eight on Orkney and six in the Western Isles.
There are seven people in hospital after testing positive for the virus in the Highlands.
Across Scotland, a total of 137,638 people have been tested through NHS labs to date. Of these, 121,883 were confirmed negative and 15,755 were positive – an increase of 25 in the past 24 hours.
Of the people who have tested positive, 575 were in hospital last night – 11 of whom were in intensive care. There are four more people in intensive care with suspected Covid-19.
Since March 5, 3,904 inpatients have been discharged from hospital.
A further person has died after testing positive for coronavirus. Scotland’s death toll is now 2,448.
